Well it has finally happened! I am a grandma!  He is adorable. Collin was born November 1st. Here are a couple of pictures of him. I haven't gotten to see him in person yet because of the circumstances of his birth and that his parents, my son and his former girlfriend, aren't together but hopefully soon I will get to spend time with him.

Thought I would share my new little man in my life.

Enjoy!

I haven't been  doing much lately, but working on a SS Christmas Swap on the Cricut message board. I have been a little hesitant to add pictures in case my SS is a follower or decides to look at my blog, but since she doesn't know who her SS giver is, it should be ok.

Here are a few pictures of the items I am sending my SS. I sure hope she likes them. I really like a few of them myself.

These pictures are of a Domino book that I created for the song Jingle Bells. It turned out so much nicer that I expected but boy did I have some problems getting it to a finished product.

First these inside pictures I cut down too much on the first try so I had to re-print them and try again. Then I decided to add a picture of bells.  Well then when I got it all together I glued the back domino on wrong! So I had to start all over and do EVERYTHING again.

Even with all the grief I had on this domino project, it was worth it! It turned out so much better than I could have ever imagined.

There are a couple of  ATC cards in the group above and I love how those came out. For Angels We Have Heard On High I took my green ink pad and dabbed it all over the front and back of a chipboard card I cut. I then stamped and angel on overhead transparency paper. Once the angel was dry I used ink pens to color on the back side of the transparency and then cut it out. I then shrunk down the music to the hymn and put it on there sideways. I ten glued the angel on and then Mod Podged the card. I then took some sticky drywall tape that looks weaved and I put it on my stamp block and inked it in pink and then stamped it really lightly a couple of place=s and then Mod Podged it again. I finished it with a Gold star. It's hard to see from this picture but it turned out great!

Hope you enjoy!

Here is a project I have been working on in my spare time over the last month. I am pleased with how it turned out.  I read of altered toilet paper roll albums on the Cricut MB and wondered what they were. So, I went to You Tube and looked them up. Wow and new use for all those cardboard rolls I have been throwing out!

Well I did 3 or so and realized that I felt they were too small, so I started using paper towel rolls and cutting them in half. Boy do I like this size much better!

So here are pictures of my latest project.
This is the front cover. I made the roses for another project and just didn't like how they looked on that project so I saved them (boy I'm glad I did because I didn't really like how they looked when I first made them.). When I pulled them out and put them on the album I still wasn't convinced they were ok. So I casually asked my husband as he walked by and he says "Yeah those look cool. They're roses aren't they?" I was so happy. I figured if he can guess what they are then they must look like what they are supposed to be. (I'm my own worst critic!)

Here are pictures of the inside pages:

I used My Mind's Eye The Station 6 x  6 paper pad. I got this as a free add on from someone I purchased some items from on one of my FB buy/sell groups. When I first got it I wondered what in the world am I going to do with this?! Then as I leafed through the pages a few times, my creative juices started flowing.

Well that's all for now. I am off to work on another swap I am involved in on the Cricut MB.

Hi friends. I apologize for not posting sooner, but I am in laziness mode and not really motivated to do anything. Here is a picture of the recipe page I did for a swap on the Cricut MB. I am happier with this page than I was with the page I made last year.

The blotches on the paper are not smudges but flecks of color in the paper. I thought it gave the pages a little more character. I can't wait to see what yummy pages I get from the other ladies. Well that's all for this post.

Over the last couple of days I have received some fun goodies I bought from a friend purging her craft room. It was so much fun opening the boxes and seeing everything I bought in person. It inspired me to do some organizing. I stayed up all night working on a project to organize my stamps. I got it finished.

Here is my favorite thing that I received in my big box of goodies:

A stack of shiny textured card stock. I thought when I purchased it that it was all gold so when I got it and realized it was different colors I was ecstatic!

I have a few more colors to use on my men's birthday cards. I will use the girly pastels for other things.

Well that's all for now.

Hi Friends!

I am going to post today about the wonderful partner I had for the Alphabet Box Swap on the Cricut message board.

Thank you Donna Schnees!  She sent me the most wonderful things. I knew of one thing because I saw it on her blog. I am adding pictures below of what I received. I cannot believe the creativity of this lady. She definitely beat me in that area. I purchased quite a few things because my mind doesn't run in the same circles as some of the ladies with which I swap. I am hoping as I view more inspiration that my creativity will increase and someday my swap partners will receive as wonderful of gifts as I received.

These are pictures of the box. How creative! It is just adorable.

This is a wonderful album that is folders. I'm not sure how I will use it yet but it just occurred to me that I could put pictures on cards and store them in the pockets! How fab would that be!

Adorable pop-up card and boo banner that hangs vertically. :oD

I saw this item with the stick pins on Donna's blog.  :o)

I LOVE this box. I don't know if she used a Cricut cartridge or not, but it is fabulous!

This apple clipboard will go great in my kitchen! How did you know?

This is a picture of the whole collection of things. Donna you blew me away with this box. I can't thank you enough. You did a superb job. Anyone would be lucky to have you as a swap partner!

Well friends that is all for now.  See you soon. Happy Crafting!

Hi, I am posting one of my creations on here for the first time. I started this blog in the beginning for work and now have decided to use it to showcase some of my creations. I am not great by any means but am trying to get better.

This is a album made from paper towel rolls. I used paper from MME. I can't remember the name of the paper but it is really pretty. I made it for my sister for her birthday. Hope she likes it.

I don't have many followers at this time but am hoping to add to my list over time. I am just beginning this journey and hopefully will be posting more than once in a while.

Thanks for looking. Happy Crafting.
